Corp 40s in the News and the Rain: (the pics enlarge on-click)
Denton Record Chronicle Story
Sun. March 10th, 2002
-
Corp 40z is different for everyone present. It's just a freak theme
night. Positive interaction required.
-
40 comes from the size of a 40 ounce beer/malt liquor.
-
Corp. Fo'ties takes no stance, nor has any mission other than providing
a theme night and a hopeful enhancement to community. Any satire
is incidental. Political views may be expressed by individuals in
the group, however the views of the entire group are very diverse.
Only art, and education changes people. Both may be pursued via culture.
-
Corp 40s began in the Fall of 2001, it was not resuscitated.
-
Some Corporate Forties atendees, attended Whirl-Mart. i.e. Separate
Groups.
-
Frigid can be defined as 18 degrees out w/ 10mph winds. Thermals/sweats
were essential under the suit.
-
Stock price is related to attendance versus the temperature. Accounting
informs us that we can report earnings according to wind-chill and/or relative
humidity.
-
Other factors appear to have helped drive away the old Fry St. culture.
A) Bars hours were extended to 2am. B) The Argo closed. C) etc;
-
No single person founded Corp. 40oz.
-
Corp 40oz. is not exactly street performance. There is no script.
Playing with the theme is encouraged. Open a mail room, or a cafeteria.
Just participate.
-
Corporate Fo'ties does not endorse Foster's beer specifically.
-
Experience Whirl-Mart.
-
Here is AWOL.
-
Did you see the sock?
